Maria Kolcharno joined The Wright Center for Community Health as Director of Addiction Services in 2018. In this role, Maria supervises the daily operations of addiction-related services and grant-funded clinical operations, including the Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence program. She joins The Wright Center for Community Health from Geisinger Marworth Treatment Center, where she was employed for 27 years, most recently serving as the organization’s Director of the Department of Admissions and Patient Evaluation.

Maria earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Marywood University, where she also currently serves as a field instructor. She is the 2010 recipient of the Caritas Distinguished Alumni Award, presented to an alumnus of Marywood University’s bachelor of social work program who has demonstrated a commitment to service, to clients and to the bachelor of social work program. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers Pennsylvania Chapter.
